We Test drove a jetta tdi sedan 2009. I could not hear the motor running. power was excellent.
What will be the honest MPG? Not EPA!
I put a deposit down on a Jetta Sport Wagon tdi !!!!!!!!!!

Bill, you consider the Jetta Wagon an ugly car but at the same time asking for a Corolla? There is nothing more boring than a Corolla but fortunately every taste is different. The only Japanese car who might come out with a diesel will be the Honda Accord or the Acura TL

Sounds like a mechanically great car, but God is it ugly. Definitely doesn’t compare lookswise to the previous generation wagon.

I live in St. Louis, MO. There are 7 dealerships within a 150 mile radius. Only one isn’t adding anything to MSRP. The rest are automatically adding $1k – $7k. I put down $500 last week. They tell me orders are being accepted and it could be as little as 1 month from now but more likely in Sept/Oct.

This is insane. How hard could it possibly be to up production of diesels, especially since this is the critical year that all companies are looking at? Their sales numbers don’t go up according to waiting lists, they go up from sales.

the dealer told me the TDI’s wont be out till january now? anyone else hear this or is he just trying to get one for himself?
