Earth Day at Theo Chocolates in Fremont

Seattle residents take note: Theo Chocolates in Fremont (old Red Hook building)

Please join us for a day of celebrating organic, sustainable and fair trade farming! We have a fun and full day planned. We hope you will stop for a FREE factory tour, FREE demos, discussions and of course, lots of samples!

ALL DAY: Our factory will be open to you all day long. We are hosting our second “open house” style tour day. You will be your own guide, customizing the amount of time you spend in each area of our factory. We will have staff stationed at various points to answer your questions.

12:00-12:30pm: Rob Elam, Founder and President of Propel Biofuels, will hand out samples of biodiesel and talk about healthier fuel alternatives!

12:30-1:30pm: Joe Whinney, Founder and President of Theo Chocolate, will discusse the fascinating world of cacao farming-lots of chocolate samples here!

2:00-2:30pm: Mark McIntyre of Full Circle Farm, one of our purveyors for local organic produce, will give a look at their certified organic farm. Expect a special Full Circle thyme confection for dessert

3:15-4:00pm: Autumn Martin, Theo Chocolatier will show you how to make our famous Mint confection. Eating with your fingers encouraged at this demo!

ALL DAY: Thundering Hooves pasture finished meats inspire chocolate-drenched dishes that will be available for you to sample all day long. Learn how to apply chocolate to a variety of savory dishes and you have to try the bacon ganache!
