• America accounts for 25% of global oil demand
• America imports over 60% of our oil, a number that is growing
• Only 2% of our electricity is produced from oil, limiting the direct impact of electricity generating energy sources on our oil dependence, specifically nuclear, solar, wind & hydro.
• America’s Transportation sector is 98% dependent on oil
