About time, why didn't the 3 big automakers do this a few years back, (small Disesels) when they were supposed too. 3-5 years ago all 3 big automakers wrere talking about small diesels in trucks and then all of a sudden go quiet and wouldn't talk diesels anymore and oh yeah gas prices skyrocketed and now that they need to do a bit of catch up. Duh the oil prices wouldn't have went up so fast if the big three made more efficient trucks and thereby saved too much fuel. I seen this and the big three getting into trouble years ago looking for power, but not economy in their vehicles. I don't believe all of their balogna about losses, some of it is just to get there stock down where they can buy it back cheap, and tax breaks from the government. of course. Hasn't anyone else paid attention to some of this? I am glad they are finally coming out with diesels though. 3-5 years too late?
