BMW’s ultra-efficient 116d joins the ranks of the 1-series diesels released in Europe. Reported mileage is 53.5 miles per gallon with less CO2 emissions than Europe’s 2008 “Green Car of the Year,” the BMW 188d, making the 116d the most efficient BMW on the market.
