I like the idea of cleaner fuel but the gas mileage sucks. I wonder if there truly is any environmental savings since about 30% more fuel is being consumed and burned. The cost to benefit ratio may not be there. Regular gas ($3.49 per gal @ 18 mpg) is costing me $.19 per mile where as Propel E85 ($2.99 per gal @ 13 mpg) is costing me $.23 per mile.

Thanks for following up. A 30% drop in mileage is pretty significant, what vehicle are you fueling?
We typically see a mileage loss of 10-15% among customers. So with a savings of 50 cents, or 16% – you often come out ahead.
And customers appreciate the increase in power. Have you noticed an improvement in performance?
